Incheon National University's Incheon Innovation Cluster for Environment Technology (head of Incheon National University Lee Hee-kwan) held the 1st Technology Seminar on biodegradable plastic in the conference room on the 4th floor of Incheon National University's main building on February 20th, with professors and special zone companies. 

The seminar was designed to strengthen the technological innovation capabilities of Incheon Innovation Cluster for Environment Technology by gathering major companies and experts who study biodegradable material technology.

The first presentation introduced definitions and mechanisms, types and manufacturing methods of biodegradable polymers, and discussed future plastic treatment methods along with a general discussion of Biomass polymers.

The second was the company's technology announcement on the development of eco-friendly biodegradable materials by CEO Song In-cheol of Paneco, along with the introduction of various products developed and manufactured by the company. 

A representative of the participating company said, "I think this seminar will allow us to know and prepare for the current trends in the biodegradable market."

Starting with the first technology seminar, we will continue to discover and provide seminars that will help companies in the special zone in a series, said Lee Hee-kwan, head of the group. "We sympathize with the direction and goals of the company, and we will spare no effort and support so that the project group's plans and support can succeed in entering the global market beyond Korea."
